Women's bodies are the basic vocabulary she combines in an infinite number of ways. With her plastic sense of form and volume, she celebrates feminity in all its forms. The women she draws are willowy, slender, their bodies tangled, rippling like scrolls.

The Woman series already looks forward to these universal themes. The drawing that Jane Gemayel masters – freehand – extends this emotion. The image is astonishing in its simplicity.
