Black Boxes - Climate change
Jane’s work Climate Change is one of the works selected for the exhibition at Maison Bosi in Rome. Presented in the Black Boxes, it is based on the denunciation of inaction in the face of climate change.
This work, which is more topical than ever, will be presented in Rome to raise awareness among the public present at the exhibition.
Many well-known figures are present in these works, although most are masked except for the central figure in the painting. Indeed, the face of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa is recognisable, as she is the only one blindfolded. Dressed in white, she seems to be carrying life. The masked faces of Putin, Trump and Einstein can be recognised.
Fragments of ideas, drawings, reworked newspaper pages, that is what the Black Boxes contain : sharing ideas and denouncing certain social mores.
